Both are forms of pneumatically applied concrete. Gunite uses a dry mix that is combined with water at the nozzle during application. Shotcrete uses a wet mix that is pumped through the hose ready to apply. Both produce comparable structural results when properly applied. EcoSpect selects the method based on the structure type, application conditions, and the specific repair requirements at each site.
